What were abundant on this shoreline, devoid of all molluscan shell debris, let alone of intact seashells, were these elliptical seed pods, presumably buoyant, that help spread the species along the coastline. Huge numbers of them were present here, they ubiquitous on this shore, to the point of being overkill.
A strange seashore indeed, marked by molluscan infertility and botanic fertility!!!!, a similar situation witnessed on a certain sector of the Andhra coastline in India by me, although the norm is that molluscan fertility far exceeds that of any shoreline plant species, seashells everywhere, plant propagative structures few and far between.

i am OBSESSED with your tag essays and the symbolism you see in all sorts of media!!! the discussion of queer representation in rural/natural landscapes as a metaphor for permanence??? *chef's kiss*
DAWY ksajgfkjsdfdskjg the way you keep being exposed to my lengthy tag rambles 😩 if i were you i’d probably have blocked me by now
AND YET i'm about to put you through it again bc i was literally just listening to skyline and thinking about how itsay and ipytm kind of explored that link between nature and queerness too... the way teh and oh-aew were always most connected and understood each other best on their beach, in their ocean—and then in ltip their beach gets closed, and in ipytm they move to bangkok, and suddenly they don’t have a space to just exist out of others’ gazes and they have to renegotiate their entire relationship because of it.
and i think part of the reason both itsay and atots were so powerful was bc they really drove home just how important it is for queer people to a) have their own space that b) isn’t contigent on their being ‘socially accepted’ etc. and living in nature obviously doesn't magically solve all problems, but it almost represents.... a freedom from the constant performativity that accompanies being queer in a cishet-normative society?
which is i think part of the reason ipytm was so hard to watch. after the vast possibilities of itsay, ipytm felt so... heartbreakingly claustrophobic. teh and oh-aew didn’t necessarily have to face any blatant homophobia, but you could see them both struggling under the constant, low-level pressure of performing for... everyone, all the time. oh-aew manages to find refuge in a queer friendship group and some measure of self-assurance, but teh never fully manages to escape it. his *entire life* in bangkok is based around performing, being an actor, making himself agreeable to casting agents and audiences. he’s wearing that mask and feeling that pressure constantly, and he begins to lose sight of who he is when no-one is watching. (i mean, he literally starts to forget what it was like being alone on the beach with oh-aew for their first time, which still breaks my heart. just. fuck.) they’ve both spent so much time thinking of bangkok as the place where they will finally be free to take control of their lives and discover themselves, but when they get there.... it’s not :(  and in the end.... they just want to go back to their beach.

DAWIS, WHAT A PLACE!
There are a lot of unpursued passion that leaves a person hanging for the rest of their lives. In this world full of modern innovations. In this modern world, practicality is the new mindset of the younger generation. A few followed what they want, some settled to what they got.
This is a great opportunity, to explore what we want and what we like, to discover what our true passion is. In this experience, even when only we explored limited location we were able to discover the different spots Dawis has to offer, from its beautiful sceneries to the beach inspired theme restaurant and its never ending line of beach resort any family would want to stay overnight. We narrowed it to two of our favorite spots to eat out.
The first spot would be The Captain Benjamin’s Restaurant. It ranges from 100 to 350 good for two or more persons already. If you are a goat-meat lover, then this is the right place for you to dine during lunch or dinner even they serve breakfast meals. They were originally known as San Nyogan but they changed their name into Captain Benjamin’s and then they changed it again to BSD Nyogan Garden Seaside Resort. They serve barbeque, breakfast and Filipino dish. They are more into goat-meat and offers boat rides to guests. And just recently they added coffee shop to their list. We invite you to visit their resort have a breeze-full experience.
The second restaurant that we were to visit was The Salog. It is a bohemian type of restaurant where you squat on the elevated floor while eating, another reason is that they serve our food with eggs which are called "it-LOG" in Bisaya. They promote eggs for it has a lot of benefits. They are located near the beach so you can relax, feel the breeze and enjoy the sound of the waves. The place is surrounded by the best air cleaning plants and their food are all homemade with no artificial preservatives added. SALOG is a combination of food and art in a simple and unique way. We invite you to visit their small haven, SALOG, to experience a new variety of food and relaxation.
During summer, they also have competitions in skim boarding. Especially this coming April, Araw in Dawis. There are a lot of upcoming events that would entertain the very fun side of each of us.
Lastly, the calmness of the beach in the morning light. The sea breeze, the air touching your skin, the silence in the twilight morning. Listening to the waves of the sea. The peace you will experience in the place when you visit and watch the sun rise. The experience you will encounter with the locals. They will offer you a lot just to make you feel comfortable in your stay. The kids running around, playing with each other. The locals swimming, the smiles they will offer you. It’s a great experience and worthy, all in all, to spend time knowing what Dawis has to offer. It's easy getting to Dawis Beach. You can hail a pedicab (a tricycle), agree on a fare (P20-30 fair one-way should be reasonable), this would take about 20 minutes or so from the city center.

Travel Post
Last month I went on a day trip to Negros Oriental. Here's the tourist spots and some of my insights about them.
Tumblr media
Niludhan Falls
Sitio Niludhan, Brgy. Dawis, Bayawan City
It just stopped raining when we got there but it's an easy trek from the main road down to the falls itself. There isn't much, just some few places where people can rest and chill but the view is splendid. The raging waters that drop from the falls gave a mist like effect and made the whole area more enchanting.
The entrance is only Php 10 per person and a local guide will then lead the way. It is managed by the city tourism office and will be soon developed to further promote it as a tourist spot .
Tumblr media
Camaya-an Paradise Beach Resort
Brgy. Camaya-an, Bayawan City
This one is an underrated gem. When we went here, we basically had the place to ourselves. The resort boasts a swimming pool with a water slide, a pool bar, a billiards table and some guest houses that you can rent if you are planning to stay for a night or two. If you are not a pool person, then beach will not disappoint you. You can rest in their cabanas while gazing at the sea while burrowing your feet in the light brown sand.
They charge Php for the entrance fee which includes the use of the pool and the beach. The owners were nice and chatted with us during our stay.
Tumblr media
Satori Cliff
Cansilan Point, Nagboalao, Basay
I was most excited about this destination when we planned out trip. If you're into taking lots of amazing photos, you should really go here. It's situated in a rocky cliff that overlooks the sea and it will simply take your breath away. You can take pictures in their nest, a circular wooden seat (lol, i don't know what it's called), and a viewing deck. You can also rent a life jacket for Php 50 and go down the steps and dive. Just make sure the waves are not strong since there are jagged rocks all over.
Upon entering they charge Php 15 for children and Php 25 for adults.
Here's a short video that summarizes all my trips. Enjoy!
Ps. This is my first time 😂

How To Soothe A Hyper 1
Among the absolute most significant traits in the lifestyle from any type of moms and dad is their children; this is actually why even when you possess the most ideal breakup lawyer in Waxahachie you will certainly still desire to make certain that you seek a youngster protection lawyer in Waxahachie to try and also guard your children. Assessment from the information in Dining table 5 series that a large number of respondents felt that stage show is actually "essential" for the growth of their youngsters and also a rather much smaller amount concerned this as "definitely important." A tiny percentage (8.9%) from moms and dads mentioned that play is very important, yet youngsters possess no time for this. I think proper discipline is course, carers should describe to little ones why their behaviors are actually absolutely no tolerance.Children are going to know what is actually 'acceptable' and also 'unacceptable' in their just through notifying, I do not think they must learn from at nowadays, no punishment childhoods, youngsters are actually a lot more at risk and present no appreciation to every person. Aside from the group background questionnaires (end results are actually mentioned over), parental opinions regarding play and discovering were examined making use of the Education and learning Perspectives Range (EAS; Rescorla, 1991), the Pre-school Play and Learning Set Of Questions (PPLQ; Parmar et al., 2004), and the Adult Belief Job Interview (PBI; Parmar et cetera, 2004). Among the very best states for hearing aid protection legislations, http://slimbodyblog.info/ Kentucky needs insurance coverage carriers to cover the full cost of each listening devices, along with a max coverage quantity from $1,400 every ear for little ones under the grow older from 18. This coverage allows brand-new electronic hearing aid acquisitions every 3 years and also deals with all related companies (including assessment as well as installation from the assistances). For instance, Dawis (1996 ), in his concept from work change, explains job advancement as "the manifesting of capabilities as well as requirements during a person's interaction along with environments from a variety of kinds (house, school, play, job) all over the life span" (p. 94). Area 2 of the Kid's Standing Action 82 from 1987 develops a presumption that, if a party in a paternal conflict has been actually sought by various other gathering to send themselves or herself, or the youngster over who she or he has parental authority, to blood tests, and she or he refuses to do so, that party wishes to hide the fact concerning the kid's paternal.
Each women need to have some unique points to consider to satisfy their unique necessities, however among my objectives along with every youngster is actually to prep all of them for institution, where they will be expected to become rather self-dependent, social, as well as disciplined. This is very important, in that numerous studies have actually located that "there were considerable teams from children which, also six years after the break up from their moms and dads' relationship, were 'rash, short-tempered and also socially taken out' and tended to be 'unhappy, unhappy, distressed, and insecure'" (DR Psychological).
Tumblr media
Numerous parents simply point out that s lovely yet creating true self-confidence arises from being incredibly details in your approval and also stating one thing like I actually like the yellow you decided on for the sand in your art work that actually advises me of the beach front abroad as well as look you even remembered to place in the reddish boat we viewed. Children after that experience you are truly considering what they are carrying out and they believe actually valued for their attempts. Moms and dads, if you believe your teen isn't using, or even a minimum of experimenting with medicines, you must get out of bed. Baseding upon the National Center on Dependency and also Chemical Abuse (CASA), 75% from senior high school students have actually used addictive compounds, and about 16% from the U.S. populace grows older 12 and over fulfilled clinical diagnostic standards for dependence to pure nicotine, liquor as well as other medications.
Tumblr media
Even with the trials life has tossed her way Jade, who was actually gone to through Liverpool stars Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres at Alder Hey while she was actually being actually addressed after the procedure, right now desires to assist people which are actually ill when she leaves school.

The unseen Tandag City of Surigao del Sur
Tumblr media
I remember back in college whenever I introduce myself and where I come from, a lot of times I got asked where Tandag is and what do we have there. I could easily answer that it’s in Surigao del Sur and it’s the capital of the province but I sometimes struggled to proceed to the latter.
We do not have beaches. We do not have museums. We do not have delicacies unique in our place.
Tandag is located at the heart of Surigao del Sur. It is the business central, and the gateway to different spots in the province. With its location and accessibility, the city could use it to its advantage.
It was only in the recent years that I was able to explore my hometown. While there’s no big tourist spots [yet] within the city, Tandag is undeniably charming for several reasons, and the list below would prove that:
5. DAWIS BRIDGE
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The bridge connects downtown and rural Tandag. It can be viewed fully from a local seaside restaurant in Bongtud. Sometimes locals bring with them their rods, and fish on the bridge. Currently, the expansion of it is ongoing.
4. TANDAG GROTTO / OUR LADY OF LOURDES GROTTO
Tumblr media
The grotto is located in Bongtud facing the port of Tandag. On the first level of the spot, there lies the statue of Our Lady of Lourdes. From there, you could see the small fishing community of the barangay.
Tumblr media
The back area of the grotto leads you to a totally different view. While it can be tiring as it requires a small trek, the view of the ocean and the island in front will be your reward when you reach the top.
3. TWIN LINUNGAO AND MANCAGANGI ISLANDS
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There is no recognized island hopping activities in Tandag as of this writing but there exists beautiful islands just downtown. From the port located in Bongtud, visitors could closely appreciate the beauty of Twin Linungao and Mancagangi. The same can also be viewed from afar at Dawis Bridge.
2. SAN NICOLAS DE TOLENTINO CATHEDRAL
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The cathedral is located at the heart of the city. It is one of the oldest, if not the only, structures in Tandag. Currently, a new and bigger one is being constructed in Rosario. While the excitement is there for the new one, the locals hope that the existing one will be rehabilitated as it has already been part of the city’s history and the locals’ lives.
1. TANDAG CITY BOULEVARD
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The boulevard is the melting pot of the city. People exercise there in the morning; have street food snacks in the late afternoon until evening; dine at the bbq stalls at night; and eat balut and lomi in the late night until dawn.
Tumblr media
The boulevard has become a hangout place to many. The two things that make people go back are the view of the pacific and its lively vibe. During the night, people also look forward to the colorful lamp posts aligned along the area.
The simple things are what make Tandag special. The whole laid-back lifestyle attracts people especially those from the busy environments. Hopefully in the next years, other potential natural spots will be developed to help boost the tourism scene in the city.

I will not even speculate as to the provenance of this brownish green seaweed that I picked up from the sands, that like the lone seashell I had picked up earlier existed in but a single copy. Certainly it couldn't have been any of the surrounding black rocks, none of which had even a single strand of seaweed, let alone being festooned by it as they are in India to the point where a rock can literally be cloaked in green.
It must have drifted from far off, the buoyancy conferring round spherical bladders to be seen like tiny grapes on this stem clearly pointing to this seaweed mass as being a reproductive structure capable of propagating this species across vast stretches of ocean. It could literally have come from anywhere, and need not have been of local provenance at all.

The end of the concrete jetty jutting out into the sea. A massive encrustation of oysters were to be seen on one of the supporting concrete pillars, that were otherwise devoid of all life.

The molluscan sterility that marked the seashore, marked the inshore rocks as well. Expect for a few rocks that bore white blotches of Oyster encrustations, these black boulders were almost lunar of aspect, their black surface devoid of seaweed, periwinkles, barnacles, and even for that matter skittering crabs, they wont to scamper back on the seashore rocks of Andhra Pradesh, India, in literal swarms.
The rocks themselves though were interesting in their physical geology characteristics - nice rounded humps that looked almost man-made, a shoal of rounded rocks as it were.

Plants are asocial, especially those that inhabit extreme environments as deserts, seashores and polar regions, and create space for themselves, and hoard scarce resources, by secreting toxic compounds called allelochemicals that essentially sterilize their vicinity of all life.
One such chemical is rotenone, a toxin so powerful it indiscriminately kills insects, plants, fish and mammals, it herbicide, pesticide and piscicide, by interfering with electron transport in their mitochondria.
Molluscan life on the seashore is thus most flourishing and abundant when botany is not allowed to get too close to it, and in nations like India beaten by the giant combers coming in from the open ocean, botany is indeed held at bay by their action, kept at a distance, its toxins not permitted to percolate and seep into the soil and kill off molluscan and other life in the vicinity.
In the enclosed waters that surround many of the islands in the Philippines waves do not have a chance to gain such momentum, and thus plant life approaches quite literally to the edge of the sea in many cases, as can be seen by the huge amount of driftwood piled up here on this shore, which close approach and unleashing of a flood of toxic chemicals would be expected to devastate molluscan communities, and might account for the stark sterility of the sea-sands witnessed here on Dawis Beach, literally no seashells, but for a single specimen - gastropods or bivalves - found here.

So heavily rusted was this metal bollard on a concrete jetty jutting out into the sea for about thirty feet that it almost resembled ancient teakwood!!! one had a hard time recognizing it for the metallic structure it in fact was..
The jetty was undergoing repair at the time I visited it, but one wonders at the faith of future boats who choose to use this rusted hulk as an anchoring point!!!.
Nothing brings out the crippling corrosive power of salt spray than do these stark images of corrosion gone absolutely amuck.
